Locally led conservation and sustainable development in Fiji since 2010.

C3 Fiji is a Fijian non-profit organisation based in Labasa, working with coastal and rural communities across Vanua Levu and Viti Levu to conserve marine and terrestrial biodiversity while strengthening local livelihoods and climate resilience.

C3 Fiji began on Kia Island, on the Great Sea Reef, and has since expanded its work across Fiji. Our work spans locally managed marine areas and sustainable fisheries, coral reef and mangrove conservation, native forest restoration, climate resilience, environmental education, WASH and community livelihoods.

We believe conservation is most effective when communities lead it and benefit from it.

C3 Fiji is locally based and works through long-term partnerships with communities, traditional leaders, government agencies, schools and local organisations. We combine local knowledge with scientific and technical expertise to develop practical solutions that respond to community priorities.

Our ridge-to-reef approach recognises that fisheries, forests, mangroves, water, livelihoods and climate resilience are interconnected. We help communities build the knowledge, governance, monitoring systems and practical resources they need to manage natural resources over the long term.
